Event Overview
As the event coordinators for The
Boston Frisbee Festival and The
World Freestyle Frisbee Championships 2002,
we would like to share with you a fantastic opportunity for your company
and products. This high energy, entertaining, family oriented event
will be held at the MDCs Lederman Field just east of the Hatch
Shell on the Charles River Esplanade on July 12th, 13th and 14th. The
event will attract professional Freestyle champions and Frisbee enthusiasts
from all over the world. In addition to the Freestyle Frisbee competition,
the Boston Frisbee Festival will provide a fair-like atmosphere with
demonstrations of all types of disc sports, including some of the top
Frisbee dogs in North America.
We would like to offer you this opportunity to be a part of this exceptional
family-fun event. Sponsorship of the Boston Frisbee Festival and World
Freestyle Frisbee Championship 2002 provides a fun marketing opportunity
for your company, as well as its employees. In addition to the emphasis
on exciting and unusual sporting performances, there will be a large
spectator presence and plenty of on-site media attention. This is a
great chance for your company to gain a positive association with an
entertaining athletic event that promotes family values and youth participation
and co-ed competition. The event will attract an estimated 10,000 spectators
over the weekend.
Positive Youth Inspiration
As members of the non-profit Freestyle Players Association, we regularly
provide educational outreach to schools and charitable foundations.
We focus efforts on cooperative youth education, finding alternative
ways to interest young people in positive outdoor activities like Freestyle
and other disc sports. Some of the groups that will have members attending
include the Big Brothers and Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Clubs,
Horizons for Youth, New England Home for Little Wanderers, Boy Scouts
of America as well as many more.
How to Join in the Fun
On the following pages, we have outlined several sponsorship levels.
We appreciate your consideration of any or all of these requests. We
welcome your involvement in refining our donation and sponsorship process,
particularly in identifying benefits that the Freestyle Players Association
can provide in return for your company support. This event is not a
profit-making venture for tournament organizers. (We are a 501 (c) (3)
non-profit organization.) It is hosted solely with the intention of
providing a quality event for the community and the players, and introducing
others to this exceptionally entertaining sport. You may also want to
